Her intention was to live one year in France to learn the language, new cooking skills and be immersed in the culture. After one year she extended her visa in order to remain in Aix en Provence, France another year. She came back to California to write the memoir of her adventure, The Blue Satin Nightgown, My French Makeover at Age 78. It is linked below.

Today, Karin Crilly speaks internationally on her adventure in France. Two of her latest speaking engagements were to The Huntington Beach Library Talks and the participants of a Women’s Wellness Week at The Canyon Ranch Spa in Tucson, Arizona. She is currently writing her second book, Living An Extraordinary Act III.
