Stefanie Benvento

Human trafficking in Orange County? Stefanie is the Director of Public Policy & Advocacy for Crittenton Services for Children and Families, a child welfare non-profit headquartered in Fullerton, California. Crittenton's history in the fight to end human trafficking proudly goes back to 1883 and today, their work is focused on girls in the juvenile justice system who have fallen victims to sexual exploitation in Southern California. She will review the various factors that have led the world, and specifically the local Southern California region to our current crisis of human trafficking. While this is not a new topic, it can be argued that until recently the response to this issue was too little, too late and failed to understand the contributing risk-factors that made victims vulnerable while precluding them from receiving services.

Leigh J. McCloskey

Leigh J. McCloskey, actor, artist and visual philosopher, reminds us to tell our stories, to remember that we are in this together, all part of the living theatre and vast library of being human: the “great curiosity.”  His book and art for Tarot ReVisioned is a masterwork of Hermetic wisdom and beauty.  Art, physics, esoteric tradition, alchemy and legend come full circle in The Grail Story revealed within THOTHS Library and the archetypal imagery in his book. His home in Malibu, Olandar, hosts weekly philosophical discussions, screenings and public gatherings. Leigh has lived his public life as an actor starring in many films and television shows and as a story teller and lecturer has presented around the world.  It is time to tell a story worthy of the human heart for all generations. McCloskey heads the Olandar Foundation for the Emerging Renaissance.
