LESSONS FROM THE THIRD WORLD
James Michael Dorsey is an explorer, award winning author, photographer, and lecturer, who has spent three and a half decades roaming the world’s most remote regions. His primary interest has been to document tribal cultures on the verge of extinction in Asia and Africa. He considers travel to be the finest sort of education. Dorsey’s articles for mainstream publication strive to educate and enlighten travelers about places they have never been, while his adventure writing focus is on the relationship between man and the environment. His presentation will describe what led him into this as a profession, while sharing some of his most personal stories, anecdotes, images, and insights, gained from cultures most of the world does not know exist.
